The Dream of Sandra - Part 2

Seeing that her daughter was very interested in ballet, Mrs. Leung said to her, “Do you want to learn ballet?”

“No, we are not rich enough to afford the tuition fee.  Also, it’s too expensive to buy the costume and shoes,” replied Sandra.

“You’re such a good girl that I must reward you,” Mom said.

Soon, Mother chose a ballet school called Chelsea Wan Ballet School, which was the most prestigious and reputable ballet school in the city.

Hearing that, Sandra cheered with joy.  After taking ballet lessons for a few weeks, she made a big progress. The ballet teacher Chelsea Wan praised her for her talent in dancing.

After half a year, she performed even better than her classmates who had learnt ballet for nearly one year.

The Dream of Sandra – Part 1

Once, there lived a poor girl called Sandra Leung, who was kind and helpful. Her dad died when she was 5 years old in a car accident so her mum was the only breadwinner.  Mrs. Leung worked hard for a living.  In the daytime, she worked as a domestic helper and in order to earn more, she also worked part-time as a cleaner in a restaurant.

Sandra was an obedient girl.  Seeing that mom worked for long hours, she also studied hard so that she could always get scholarship to finance her study.

At the age of 12, one day, it was a day-off for mom.  Sandra went to a nearby shopping mall with her mother to watch the open dance performance.  On the stage, she saw a dancer who wore a pretty dress and danced beautifully and gracefully.

A Tale of Two Countries – Part Two

For a long time, there had been an argument between the two countries.  Peaceful World wanted to promote environmental protection and hoped to plant more trees.  However, Wicked World wanted to develop its economy so he planned to build more factories.

Finally, Wicked World started a war to attack Peaceful World. However, people in Wicked Country didn’t like to cooperate with one another so there was chaos among all men and soldiers.

On the other hand, people in Peaceful World worked well together and they planned well in their war strategy.

In the war, many people in Wicked World were killed but the king showed no concern on his own people.  At the end, Wicked World was defeated.
