An Unforgettable Birthday for Hello Kitty

Hello Kitty was a Primary six student. She was a sociable and friendly girl so she had a lot of friends. Her birthday was coming soon and she expected her friends to sing a birthday song to her.

That special day came and she got up with joy and excitement.

“Good morning, my Darling. Happy Birthday to you!” said Dad and Mom together happily. They gave her a big gift wrapped nicely.

“Thank you Dad and Mom,” said Hello Kitty excitedly.

On her way to school, Hello Kitty imagined that her friends would sing a birthday song to her and she smiled.

However, when she arrived at the school, she was disappointed because no one even said hello to her. Worse than that, when she met her best friend Melody, Melody ran away from her and pretended that she did not see her. Hello Kitty was very angry.

“I was so nice to you guys and always share my snacks with all of you. How come you all forget my birthday?” Hello Kitty thought to herself and her heart sank deeply.

Time passed and the school finished. Everybody left quickly. Hello Kitty was very upset and she went home alone slowly with heavy steps.

The moment when she unlocked the door, she was shocked.

“Surprise! Hello Kitty!” all her classmates cheered loudly. They hurried to Hello Kitty’s home immediately afterschool because they planned to give a surprise party to Hello Kitty.

Hello was very touched and tears ran down her face.

“Thank you so much, my buddies,” said Hello Kitty sincerely.

The whole class sang a birthday song to Hello Kitty and they gave a big birthday present to her. It was a huge teddy bear which Kitty had dreamed of having one for a long time.

Kitty thanked her classmates again wholeheartedly. They ate the birthday cake which was baked by Kitty’s mom. The cake was in the shape of Hello Kitty. Everybody enjoyed the party and it was an unforgettable day for Hello Kitty!

An Impatient Teacher Doraemon

Doraemon is a Mathematics teacher of a prestigious school, ABC Convent Primary School. He is a knowledgeable man who teaches very well so his students respect him very much. However, he is impatient and gets angry easily.

One day, while Doraemon was teaching the class as usual, everyone was paying attention. Suddenly, a student from the next class passed by.  He was Keroppi, the most mischievous boy in the school.

While Doraemon was writing on the blackboard, he made strange faces and gave some weird facial expressions outside the glass windows. He drew the attention of the students.

Doraemon turned back and saw what happened. He got angry and dashed out of the classroom. He scolded the students. The student pretended to be afraid and dropped down his head. Doraemon went back to his teaching.

While Doraemon was writing on the board, the same student appeared again and this time, he danced like Michael Jackson and did moon walk. The whole class was attracted to him and laughed crazily.

Doraemon heard it and turned back at once. When he saw the same student dancing outside along the corridor, he grew red with anger. Immediately, he banged open the door and shouted rudely at him.
“What are you doing here, you bad guy?” Doraemon continued with some foul language to vent out his anger.

Unfortunately, the stern and unpopular headmistress was passing by. He saw and heard what Doraemon was doing.

“Mr Doraemon, please come to see me after your lesson,” the headmaster said seriously.

The naughty boy was shocked because he knew something bad would happen on the teacher.

When Doraemon went back to his teaching, he looked worried and the whole class was totally silent because they knew the teacher would be punished by the headmistress. After the lesson, Doraemon hurried to the headmistress’s room.

It was recess time and all the students were talking about the incident. They were worried that Mr Doraemon would be dismissed. The news was spread over and Kereppi felt very guilty.  He was worried that the respectable teacher would be fired.

After around 20 minutes, Mr Doraemon went out of the headmistress’s room. He was holding a big, long envelope.

All the students were running towards their teacher. “Mr Doraemon, are you leaving us? We can’t lose you!!!” they cried loudly and tears were running down their faces.

Kereppi rushed to Mr Doraemon. He bowed his head down and apologized to the teacher. He was crying miserably.

“Why are you guys crying? Who is leaving?” Doraemon wondered.

“We know that you’ve been fired by the headmistress, we’re so sorry,” one of the students said and wept.

“What?! Who was fired? This is just a warning letter!” Doraemon said, showing the letter to the students.

Finally, Doraemon was very touched because there were so many students who concerned about him. He decided that he would control his temper and would not get angry easily.

A Kind but Absent-minded Melody

Melody is a ten-year old rabbit. She is kind-hearted and helpful.  So, she is rather popular among her classmates. However, in her teachers’ eyes, she is an absent-minded student.
One day, Melody’s teacher arranged a picnic with her and a few classmates. Melody was responsible for taking all the snacks and food from the school, which was prepared by the teacher.

Outside the school, she met one of her classmates B-Duck. Suddenly, B-Duck tripped over a stone and fell down on her knees. Melody saw her and immediately held her up and brought her to the sickroom of the school.

Melody looked at her watch and found that she was late so she hurried to the gathering place which was a nearby bus station. Unfortunately, she was late for 30 minutes.

“Where is the food?” the teacher asked.

“It’s here,” Melody replied. Melody looked around but then she noticed she had forgotten to take the bags of food and snacks.

“Oh, sorry! I left it in the sickroom just now because I accompanied a student to there. I’m so sorry. Let me get it back at once,” Melody gasped.

The teacher grabbed her hand to stop her.

“Melody, it’s too late now because this bus leaves after 5 minutes and the next bus leaves after one hour.  If we miss this bus, I don’t think we can be on schedule,” the teacher said.

Melody apologized again and again.

“Melody, it’s okay,” the twins, Little Twin Stars said understandably.

“We can play for the whole afternoon and we’ve already taken a big breakfast at McDonald’s,” Rilakuma said softly and comforted her.

“It’s okay to skip just one meal,” Hello Kitty agreed.

The whole afternoon, the teachers and the classmates had nothing to eat and they were very hungry.  They didn’t blame her but Melody felt very guilty. She realized that it was her carelessness which made everyone suffer hunger.

The next day, Melody went to school as usual but she was still depressed because of what happened the day before. Outside the school gate, she saw B-Duck’s parents standing there. Once they saw Melody, they rushed to her and greeted her with a big and friendly smile,

“Thank you so much for helping my daughter,” said B-Duck’s parents sincerely, holding melody’s hand tightly and thankfully.

Hearing what Mr and Mrs B, Melody felt happy again!
